Cam Hero can support any IP camera brand / manufacturer as long as the camera device supports one of ONVIF, RTSP, MJPEG, HLS streaming protocols.

Which Apple devices are supported by Cam Hero?
You can download and use the Cam Hero App on the following platforms / devices
- iOS 16.0 and above (iPhone, iPad)
- macOS 13.0 and above (Macbook, Mac mini, iMac, Mac Studio, Mac Pro)
- tvOS 16.0 and above (Apple TV)
Does Cam Hero support remote camera viewing?
Yes, you can use Cam Hero to view your cameras even outside your local area network using Remote Viewing feature. Use any device as a home hub (e.g your Apple TV or Mac) and view your camera streams outside your local network on any other device (e.g you iPhone on cellular).
Can Cam Hero perform motion and other event detection?
Smart, fast, privacy-preserving and on-device AI is built right into Cam Hero. AI detection is available on all platforms except iPhone. On event detection, Cam Hero automatically generates both snapshots and video recordings of the event and notifies you immediately.
