Do you have a Tapo camera and want to enable third-party access to your camera feed? A third-party access is required when you want to allow an application or service other than Tapo to access your camera feed. For example, you might want to view your camera streams using third party apps (like Cam Hero, iSpy, Blue Iris etc) or want to attach a network storage device (NAS like Synology) for recording your streams.
Pre-requisites
To add a camera account, make sure you have downloaded the Tapo app from the App Store and you are logged into that app and can see your camera.

Notes and best practices
A camera account is valid for a single camera only. If you have multiple cameras in your Tapo account, you need to create a camera account separately for each camera.
It's a good idea to disable or delete your camera account when no longer needed
It's a good idea to set a username that can give you some indication about the purpose you have set it up for.
Set a strong password and avoid using weak passwords.
Create a separate camera account for each third-party service or application you want to use it with. This way, you can easily disable a single service later on.
