Step 1: Find out your Dahua camera IP address.
If you know your camera IP address, feel free to skip this step. If you don't know your IP address, Cam Hero can automatically detect this for you. The following video shows how to search and discover cameras with cam hero.
Step2: Open the Dahua web interface
The above video shows how to open the web-interface for a Hikvision camera. The process is exactly same for Dahua cameras as well.
You can simple paste the Dahua camera IP address discovered by Cam Hero and open it in your web browser. The following section guides you through you Dahua camera account setup
Step3 : Setup your Dahua camera account credentials
After you open the IP address URL (which in my case http://192.168.1.108 - and is the default IP address from most Dahua IP cameras) in your web browser, you will be promoted with a login-page.
If you are doing this for the first-time, you will be prompted with an account setup page instead which will present you with location selection, time settings, license agreement and password creation, Refer to the screenshots below for a visual guide.

Set-up your region settings (first-time setup)

Set-up timezones and sync time ( first-time setup)

Update settings prompt (first-time setup)

Software License prompt (first-time setup)

Remote Access set-up prompt (first-time setup)

Password and account recovery (first-time setup)

Step4: Connect to your Dahua camera using RTSP URL
Once you have your username and password you can view your Dahua camera using Cam Hero by using those credentials. Refer to the first video again how to add your username and password in Cam Hero. Hope this helps!
